Nearing Completion
Course construction began in the late spring of 2006 on the Palouse Ridge Golf Club at Washington State University, a new 18-hole championship course planned for the Pullman campus. The course is scheduled to open to the public in late summer of 2008.
A clubhouse is under construction at the center of the course, providing expansive views of the Palouse hills. Approximately 7,000 square feet, the clubhouse will be able to host 80-100 guests for special events, weddings and banquets.
The planned building includes a pro shop, lounge area and dining facilities, as well as outdoor terraces. Construction began in October 2007, with a scheduled completion date of July 2008. Budgeted at $4 million, construction of the clubhouse will be funded by private and corporate gifts. The course will become a prime location for students, alumni, faculty, staff and visitors to Pullman.
